After Glow of The Globes...A Barefoot Bath & Body Experience

Well I can finally catch up and tell you all about my experience as a handmade bath and body artisan gifting her products in The Artisan Group's swag bags at the GBK Productions 2012 Golden Globes Gift Lounge at the L'ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills.   I will start with the twitter experience.  Have you ever been in an auditorium where everyone is Gift Loungerushing the stage trying to get the attention of the lead singer?  Well...that is what twittering is kind of like, only....depending on how you twitter, you actually do get the attention of the people you are trying to get the attention of, without having to throw your panties up on stage...

Anyway, I digress...We were discussing twitter.  Even though I occasionally make fun, I love twitter.  You can reach anyone anywhere and send a message over the Internet without being a creepy stalker.  You can tell a celebrity that your products are in the swag bag they just picked up...and that is exactly what I did..for two days...and I have to say, the experience was exhilarating and exhausting, both physically and mentally.  You have to twitter just right.  You don't want to over twitter a celebrity, but you don't want to not twitter them either.  This was a learning experience I will soon never forget.

So aside from the twitter fest, in which I found much camaraderie with my fellow Artisan Group participants, my travel candles along with other handmade artisans's gifts were gifted to the likes of Jeremy Irons, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Rico Rodriguez...just to name a few!  PLUS:  I have the proud honor of announcing that not only did I get one photo of a celebrity posing with one of my display products, but I have three pictures.  Four celebrities in all posing with my product!

Mark Feuerstein...aka Dr. Hank of USA Network's Royal Pains posing with both my bundt cake soaps!
Rapper & record producer David Banner showing his soft side with my re-purposed teacup Lychee & Red Tea soy candle!
ABC's Revenge actor Gabriel Mann and CW's Gossip Girl Actor Connor Paolo share a pose with my re-purposed Lychee & Red Tea teacup candle!

For information about how this all came about, read the posts down below this one...my journey does not end here.  I am proud to announce that my business cards will be included in the swag bags of The Artisan Group gifting celebrities at the 2012 MTV Music Awards!  Stay tuned!
